Looe Carnival is taking place this year from 29 July – 3 August 2024 (Furry Dance 29 July & Carnival Procession 3 August).
As part of the longstanding tradition of the Carnival week in Looe, three local primary school age children are chosen to be the Carnival Royalty and take part in the Furry Dance procession and the Carnival procession.
Our aim was to have a fair and unbiased selection process as the applicants will be judged purely on the information written about their reasons for wanting to represent their town as a member of the Looe Carnival Royalty.
We are pleased to announce the Carnival Royalty for this year. They will represent Looe at the Furry Dance on 29 July and the Carnival Procession on 3 August. Look out for them travelling in the Land Train on both evenings.
