Looe Carnival took place this year from 28 July – 2 August 2025 (Furry Dance 28 July & Carnival Procession 2 August).

As part of the longstanding tradition of the Carnival week in Looe, three local primary school age children are chosen to be the Carnival Royalty and take part in the Furry Dance procession and the Carnival procession.

Our aim was to have a fair and unbiased selection process as the applicants will be judged purely on the information written about their reasons for wanting to represent their town as a member of the Looe Carnival Royalty.

We will announce the start of the Royalty choosing process for 2026 after Easter with the Royalty being announced by the end of May. Please watch out for announcements on our website and Facebook.
